Veteran sports, media and digital leader to accelerate fan-first growth across Asia-Pacific

VANCOUVER, BC and MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA / ACCESS Newswire / February 24, 2026 / Tradable Bits, a leading provider of fan engagement, data, and marketing solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Morris as General Manager, Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Based in Melbourne, Morris will lead Tradable Bits' APAC operations and growth strategy, working closely with league, team, and entertainment partners to help them acquire, unify, and activate first-party and zero-party fan data to drive deeper engagement and measurable commercial outcomes.

Morris brings more than 25 years of experience spanning sport, media, agencies, and technology across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets. He joins Tradable Bits at a pivotal moment as rights holders across APAC accelerate investment in data, AI, and fan-centric digital strategies.

"APAC was one of the first regions Tradable Bits expanded into outside North America, and it continues to be one of our most strategically important markets," said Darshan Kaler, Co-Founder and CEO of Tradable Bits. "Mike has a rare ability to connect data, content, commercial strategy, and community impact. His leadership will help our partners turn fan intelligence into real-world engagement and revenue in an increasingly competitive digital landscape."

Building on strong APAC momentum

Tradable Bits was recently named winner of the Professional Services category at the B.C. Export Awards recognizing the company's success in exporting high-value fan engagement and data solutions to sports and entertainment organizations worldwide. Tradable Bits has established a significant presence across Asia-Pacific, supporting sports organizations and entertainment brands as they transition toward owned fan relationships, privacy-forward data strategies, and AI-powered engagement. The company's platform is used globally to power loyalty programs, fan games, data capture, CRM enrichment, and sponsor activation-helping rights holders better understand their audiences and unlock new commercial value.

Morris will focus on expanding partnerships across professional sport, leagues, federations, live entertainment, and major events, while helping clients future-proof their fan strategies amid rapid change in technology, media consumption, and regulation.

"There's a clear shift underway," said Morris. "Fans expect more personalized, meaningful experiences, and organizations need better ways to unify fragmented data and activate it responsibly. Tradable Bits has proven this model globally, and I'm excited to help scale that impact across APAC-working collaboratively with partners to put fans first while driving sustainable commercial growth."

Deep experience across sport, media and data

Prior to joining Tradable Bits, Morris served as Head of Sales & Commercial Strategy, APAC at ActiveXchange, where he worked with governments, sporting bodies, and community organizations to unlock the power of data and AI across large, complex ecosystems. He has also held senior leadership roles with Triple M, Cricket Australia, and across the media and agency landscape, leading digital transformation, sponsorship strategy, and revenue growth initiatives.

In addition to his commercial work, Morris is an active advisor to startups and sporting organizations and contributes to philanthropic initiatives supporting community health and youth outcomes.
